Mason's Appointment
Today we had Mason's hearing test at Children's hospital in St Louis. He had to have a more extensive test done because he failed the tests they did in the hospital. So our Dr referred us to a pediatric audiologist.
Here we are 3rd floor please! Children's is such a neat hospital.
For the test they had to tape electrodes to his forehead and behind his ears. He didn't seem to mind that, he just didn't like the scrubbing of his head first to make sure they would stick. Then we had to feed to until he fell into a deep sleep. He did such a good job!
They did 4 sets of tests on each ear and HE PASSED them all! He is such a good little tester :)Sunday, October 23, 2011
First Time for everything...
Today was the first time I had to leave Mason for more that 15-20 min. It was our soup day at church and I help Andrea chair the day. So I was gone from about 9:30am -1:30pm. That was such a long 4 hours!!!! I am so not ready to go back to work, 10 hours is way too long to be away from him. Good thing I have another 2 weeks.
Daddy and Mason had fun. They watched football, had a snack , and Mason even got a wet wipe bath due to an accident during a diaper change. :) Of course Mommy had to laugh when I came home and saw that Mason didn't have his chiefs outfit on anymore. Daddy did great!! Mason and I are very lucky to have such a great guy in our lives!
Tomorrow is Taste of Palmyra. Daddy and Mason get to hang out AGAIN, because Mom and I have a booth selling hair bows, holders, car seat covers, and tutus. Not sure why we make all this girly stuff, no baby girls in our family!!!!!!! :)

Trip to Alabama
Mason, Mommy, Papa and Mamaw Gervais all took a trip to Alabama to meet Mason's Great-Grandparents. Mason did great in the car ride down and back. He is such a great little traveler, which is good since we have so much family out of town. We had a great time visiting with everyone down there.

1 month
I tried to take some 1 month pictures so i can compared them every month with taking similar pictures.
You are sleeping pretty good at night, usually 6 hours at first and then you want to play for 1-2 hours, you eat again and then sleep for another 4 hours. We need you to figure out night time is not play time!!!! During the day you are awake a lot more now. You like to lay under your activity gym and watch the animals. You have very good head control and like to look around when being burped. You are still nursing plus being supplemented with formula as well. You have very good hearing, despite what the Doctors say. You turn your head when you hear mommy's voice, daddy's too.
