8 months old and growing like a weed! You weigh 19lbs 10oz now and are in the 49 percentile for weight! You grew 1.25 inches this time and are a wopping 27.25 inches long, that makes you in the 22 percentile :) Its just so hard to believe you are this big already.
We moved you to a big boy car seat this month. It was just getting a little bit too much to carry you in the pumpkin seat. You seem to like it just fine, and can still fall asleep without your head falling to the side!
You also starting talking a lot this month. your favorite word- DADADADADADA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mommy tried REALLY hard to get you to say mamama, but all that comes out is dadadada. Thats ok I know you will get mama one day and I will be begging you to say dada :)
You are still gnawing on EVERYTHING, but no teeth yet :) I am sure it won't be long. Though I am just content with you not having teeth yet, you eat everything and do a good job of getting some table food down too. You have had a whole carrot and green beans now. Of course you still eat baby food, puffs, cheerios, and crackers :)
You are always on the go! You are scooting backwards all the time. You
can get up on your hands and knees but are just rocking back and
forth. It won't be long and I think you will be keeping up with your
cousins! You have figured out rolling again. You rolled a couple of months ago, front to back and back to front, but then you learned to sit up and no longer wanted to roll. If you fell over you would just cry until someone helped you sit up. We now you are back to rolling to get something.
Mommy and daddy are so luck to have such a good little guy!
