Week of the Young CHild

We had a very fun week.  When I was at Blessing this week was always my favorite.  I loved planning it and doing all the activities.

Mason 2012 Spring Pictures

7 month birthday!

Mason is 7 months!!!  He is getting so big, so fast. And changing everyday!!!  He weighs 18lbs 10oz only gaining 8oz since six month, but i am pretty sure he gained 2 inches!  His pants are capris now!  Hopefully we will be in shorts soon!  He is still only taking 5oz at a time, and has cut down to 4 bottles a day.  He is finally sleeping all night without eating.  We usually go in 1-3 times and put the pacifier back in.

 He is still such a happy boy!  So good natured and quite the flirt.  Last night we were at Sam's checking out and he was smiling at EVERY girl that smiled and talked to him.  Everyone always says, oh he is sooo cute, look at those eyes!

 He is chewing on EVERYTHING, but no teeth yet.  He loves puffs and yogurt puffs too.  Not a huge fan of cheerios, still chokes on them a bit.  But he loves to eat in general!

 He isn't crawling yet, but on his belly will turn in circles and started scooting backwards as well!  Mommy is ok with a stationary baby! Not ready to totally baby proof everything.

First Swim- April 2nd!!!!!

Who would have thought in April we would be outside swimming?  It was so nice out today we decided to swim! Mason really like it.  We stayed outside for about 30 min and he splashed the whole time.  We had to put the umbrella up at the end because the sun was pretty warm.

Miss Tenley!

Tenley came to play with Mason and I one morning while daddy and Uncle Steven played some golf!  She was so funny with Mason.  I think she is ready for a baby brother!!!!

 

These two look like they could cause some trouble in the days to come!

New Puppy

Aunt Erin got Mason this puppy a while back and I just stuck it in the corner of his crib (yes I do know the recommendations), and Mason has never bothered it.  The other day I went in there after his nap because I heard him talking, and he was talking to his puppy!  He was chewing on his tail and just talking away!  Daddy says we can name him Maverick (since he DOES NOT want that as a baby name and mommy does).  I told Mason that this is the closest thing to a puupy he will ever have(daddy disagrees)

Someone is ready to watch some baseball.......yes mommy would rather he be in a little more blue, but M doesn't have a Cubbies hat yet!

6 months old!

Its not fair, you are 6 months old already!  This time has just flown by.  I swear it was just yesterday you were 8lbs 4oz and Dr Dietrich was putting you on my chest!  Now you are 18lbs 3oz and 26inches long!!!!  You are getting soooo big!  You are eating 5 oz every 3.5-4 hours and are eating a whole stage 2 jar of baby food 3 times a day!  You have had all fruits and veggies and love them all.  We have even tried a few blends too and you like them as well. 

 

A miracle happened this month.......YOU FINALLY sleep all night!  You go to bed around 8pm and usually once in the night we have to put your pacifier back in and turn your music on, but then you sleep until 7 or 8am!  One night you rolled to your belly, and slept all night, and ever since you have done the same! 

 You are such a good baby and I can't say it enough, we are so blessed you are in our lives.  Every day we make us smile and laugh.  

 6 months.....you sure have changed  8lbs 4oz to 18lbs 3oz!

 We are using cloth diapers a little bit.  We only use them at home, and not everyday, we are slowly growing our stash of diapers.  It is a big expense in he beginning, but will save us money in the end!  Plus you look so cute with a fluffy bottom!
