Monkey See...Monkey Do!

Mason is big into clapping right now.  We play a lot of patty cake, and cheering for things! 

Cheap Entertainment!

Mason sat and rolled this tire for a good 15-20 min!  Almost as good as the empty cardboard box fun!

9 months!

Ok i promise interesting things happened in a month, but I guess we have been so busy, I forgot to post.  But here is our 9month post!

 

I did get a few good pictures after LOTS of not so good ones.....

 

We took a few pictures inside this day because it was too hot outside!  Mason is getting harder and harder to take pictures of.  He is off looking in other directions,

 or on his knees rocking back and forth,

 or turning in circles on his bottom to do ANYthing but look at mommy!

 Still has those BEAUTIFUL eye lashes!

 to say the least he was DONE taking pictures!

 9 month collage!

 Growing like a WEED!

Such a happy boy!  You are 9 months and changing every day!  You weigh 19lbs 4 oz last time we weighed you (but it was at a dr appt after you hadn't had much of an appetite and you had lost 6oz).  You are SOOOOOO close to crawling.  You can get up on your hands and knees and you move your hands forward but haven't gotten the hang of moving your knees too. But you get where you want to go.  You scoot on your bottom by turning in circles.  You also still scoot backwards and find yourself in quite the predicament often, under the couch and end tables are your favorite.  You are eating more and more table food, and drinking less and less bottles, mommy isn't ready for you to give them up just yet.

On the boat!

Memorial Day the Jones' Family rented 2 pontoons and we went out on the Mark twain Lake!  Everyone was there(except Triston) and it was a lot of fun! Mason did sooooo good, even if he did have to wear this life jacket.  He wasn't a fan until the boat moved and then he was much better.

 We even got to take the jacket off if the boat wasn't moving!  Some time to stretch out and play with toys.

 A nap was a must!!!

Rolling Rolling Rolling

Mason rolled a while back, but then he learned to sit up and "forgot" how to roll.  So he just recently remembered and has been rolling back and forth again.

8 months

 

8 months old and growing like a weed!  You weigh 19lbs 10oz now and are in the 49 percentile for weight!  You grew 1.25 inches this time and are a wopping 27.25 inches long, that makes you in the 22 percentile :)  Its just so hard to believe you are this big already.  

 

We moved you to a big boy car seat this month.  It was just getting a little bit too much to carry you in the pumpkin seat.  You seem to like it just fine, and can still fall asleep without your head falling to the side!  

You also starting talking a lot this month.  your favorite word- DADADADADADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Mommy tried REALLY hard to get you to say mamama, but all that comes out is dadadada.  Thats ok I know you will get mama one day and I will be begging you to say dada :)

You are still gnawing on EVERYTHING, but no teeth yet :)  I am sure it  won't be long.  Though I am just content with you not having teeth yet, you eat everything and do a good job of getting some table food down too.  You have had a whole carrot and green beans now.  Of course you still eat baby food, puffs, cheerios, and crackers :)

 

You are always on the go!  You are scooting backwards all the time.  You can get up on your hands and knees but are just rocking back and forth.  It won't be long and I think you will be keeping up with your cousins!  You have figured out rolling again.  You rolled a couple of months ago, front to back and back to front, but then you learned to sit up and no longer wanted to roll.  If you fell over you would just cry until someone helped you sit up.  We now you are back to rolling to get something.

 

Mommy and daddy are so luck to have such a good little guy!

We have a MOVER!

Mason is really starting to move.  When he is on his belly he pushes himself backwards.  He has gotten on his knees a couple of times but doesn't go anywhere except down! ha ha.  He is getting good at face planting.
